Would you be our new Summer Trainee in Group Finance? 

A dynamic summer traineeship within the Group Finance team, offering hands-on experience in financial reporting systems, accounting development, and internal control processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience with Oracle EPM tools, group consolidation, and internal financial processes within a global automotive manufacturing environment. 

Your days in Group Finance will include: 

Group Reporting System Support (Oracle EPM): 

• Assist in the maintenance and development of our group consolidation system (FCCS), including updates to metadata, creation of new reports, and scenario management. 

• Contribute to the monthly financial closing process through data validations and intercompany matching tasks. 

• Build and update automated report packages for use by Group Finance and various business areas. 

• Participate in the development and testing of our planning system to improve financial forecasting and planning accuracy.

Accounting Support & Development: 

• Lead a "lessons learned" project focused on the previous year-end close and audit process, in collaboration with our business areas. 

• Facilitate experience-sharing and best practice workshops while helping to identify and address key improvement areas flagged by internal and external auditors. 

Internal Controls: 

• Assist in quarterly balance sheet reconciliation reviews. 

• Support business areas in strengthening their internal controls through analysis and feedback. 

We hope that you: 

• Are a recent graduate or a current student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 

• Have a basic understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting principles. 

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when working with financial data and systems. 

• Are comfortable working with Excel and ideally have familiarity with ERP/EPM systems (Oracle is a plus). 

• Communicate clearly and confidently in English and Finnish. 

• Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn new systems and practices. 

The job is located in Uusikaupunki and requires regular presence there, but you will also have possibility to work at our office in DataCity, Turku. We also offer flexible remote work possibilities. 

What we offer you: 

• A structured summer trainee program running from May to August, with real responsibility and learning opportunities from day one. 

• A paid internship with monthly compensation based on completed credits, ranging from 1925€ to 2525€. 

• A chance to develop hands-on experience in financial systems and reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls in a global business environment. 

• Many of our trainees continue in part-time roles or write their thesis with us after the summer!
