Solution Lead, PLM Systems

Your challenge

As a Solution Lead for PLM Systems, you will drive strategic initiatives to enhance the performance and efficiency of Valmet Automotive's PLM systems and engineering tools. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with operational leadership, business partners, and functional teams to develop and implement forward-thinking solutions.

Your responsibilities include the following:

• Leading end-to-end process development initiatives within PLM
• Driving improvements and harmonization of engineering systems and business processes to support Valmet Automotive’s future goals
• Enhancing employee knowledge and skills to support long-term growth
• Providing business architecture and systems processing guidance
• Executing multi-year PLM architecture plans
• Monitoring vendor performance against agreed service levels
• Ensuring initiatives and developments align with the architecture vision and roadmap
• Understanding stakeholder needs and balancing trade-offs to maximize business impact
• Participating in budgeting processes to ensure the implementation of effective solutions that support our business objectives.

We wish you to have:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in system and process development within Teamcenter and other Siemens engineering tools
• Prior experience with other PLM solutions is a plus
• Experience with NX, Catia, or other CAD software
• Strong knowledge of engineering and design processes, along with supporting business systems and workflows
• Understanding of ICT technologies, application management, integrations, ICT infrastructure, and data management
• Excellent project management, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Finnish and English
• A proactive, creative, and self-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Location & Work Flexibility:

This role is based in Uusikaupunki and requires regular on-site presence. However, you’ll also have the option to work from our DataCity office in Turku, with additional flexibility for remote work.
