In our new EV Systems business line we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.

Job description

We are looking for Robot Specialist to drive our robot automation activities in new line projects and engineering changes.

You are responsible for specifying, designing, implementing and deploying robot system solutions. You coordinate robot system planning and equipment deliveries, improve productivity and control stakeholder / subcontractor activities.

You work in close relation with other organizations, line builders and external support. You support production with robot system related problems, both in locating the faults and in corrective actions. You also train production personnel in the use of robot systems.

In this position you will report to Manufacturing Engineering Manager directly and cooperate in parallel with Project Manager.

Location of this position is Uusikaupunki site.

• Relevant, technical education
• Practical work experience related to robot automation and programming, experience in Kuka robots is a benefit
• Desire to learn new skills
• Analytical, detailed and logical way of working
• Good problem-solving skills and think out of the box
• Ability to work on different projects
• Self-initiative, proactive and flexible approach
• Good negotiation, interaction and teamwork skills  
• Good written and spoken English is required
