In our new Electric Vehicle Systems (EVS) we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.

Here’s where you’ll make an impact:

We are looking for Quality Operators for temporary employments. As a quality operator you work in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products or components according to instructions and specifications. This job includes variety of different kinds of tasks, for example microscopic analysis, destructive testing, 3D-scanning etc. Thorough introduction and training for every task is naturally included.

The work is currently done in 2 or 3-shift, but you should also be prepared for 4-shift work.

• Preparing, measuring and analyzing of the samples
• Visual inspection
• Performing different kinds of measurements (cleanliness, 3D-scanning, microscopic analysis, torque measurements etc.)
• Troubleshooting and investigations on products with the lab engineer
• Reporting (Office, SAP, Fidaware)

 We hope that you would have:

• “hands on” -attitude and ability work independently  
• You are able to work in time sensitive situations and under pressure
• You have good communication skills
• You are eager to improve and learn new things

What we require from the applicant:

• Some experience with different kinds of tools and/or measurement devices
• Safety first -mindset
• Fluent communication in English. Other languages are considered as an asset
• Basic IT-skills
• Readiness for shift work
