Your challenge

As a member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying automation solutions for both new and existing production processes—whether in-house or within customer projects. Your role will include coordinating process automation planning, managing equipment deliveries, and aligning activities among key stakeholders. You will work closely with internal departments, equipment vendors, and external customers to ensure seamless integration and operation. Additionally, you will support production by troubleshooting and resolving automation system issues, and take part in training production personnel on the use of control systems.

We hope from you:

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with automation systems in serial manufacturing and/or process industries
Hands-on experience in designing PLC systems (Siemens), electrical design using EPLAN, and/or PLC programming with TIA Portal
Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable working style
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including serving as project lead when needed
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Willingness to work at customer sites and travel as required

Location & Work Flexibility:

This role is based in Uusikaupunki and requires regular on-site presence. However, you’ll also have the option to work from our DataCity office in Turku, with additional flexibility for remote work depending on project needs.
