In our new Electric Vehicle Business Line (EVBL) we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.


Here’s where you’ll make an impact:
In the position of Plant Coordinator, you will work directly for our Plant Head. You are responsible for coordinating several plant level internal development activities within various areas and will facilitate working sessions with cross-functional teams. You are also responsible operation systems and lean production development, KPI’s follow up and development coordination, preparing reports and presentations for top management, making analysis of different topics to be the basis for management decision making.
You need to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and distinguish the underlying business facts. Tasks include also compiling and developing status reports, coordinating schedules, managing meetings and agendas and make sure everything is documented properly. Overall, you will be working alongside with the whole Business Line management team and support them in Business line level development tasks.
Location will be in Uusikaupunki, Finland.


We hope that you would have:

  • a degree in business or engineering
  • previous experience in industrial environment
  • business understanding with ability to evaluate business from helicopter view, but also execute task hands on
  • ability to decompose high-level information into details as well as abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding
  • detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities
  • verbal and written communication skills
  • people skills with the ability to form strong stakeholder relationships with all levels of organization
  • fluent written and spoken Finnish and English language skills
