Would you be our new Sustainability Trainee?
A dynamic traineeship within the Group Finance and Sustainability team, offering hands-on experience at the intersection of financial strategy and sustainability initiatives to drive sustainable business transformation. The Sustainability Trainee will support in advancing the company’s sustainability agenda by contributing to CDP reporting, building robust processes for CSRD compliance, and supporting EU Green Taxonomy. In addition, work areas can include other Group Finance-related tasks aligned with trainee´s interests. This role offers hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, data management, and communication within the automotive manufacturing environment.
Your days in the Sustainability team will include:
CDP Reporting

Assist in the preparation, collection, and submission of the annual Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) reports.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather environmental data such as carbon emissions, energy consumption, and water usage.

Analyze reporting gaps and recommend improvements to achieve higher CDP scores.

Monitor industry benchmarks and trends to enhance CDP reporting processes.
Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive Process Development

Support the development of internal processes and frameworks to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Assist in assessing the company’s economic activities against the EU Green Taxonomy criteria.

Collect and analyze data related to taxonomy alignment, such as capital expenditures (CapEx), operational expenditures (OpEx), and revenues.
Other Responsibilities:

Supporting Group finance in other Group Finance-related tasks aligned with trainee´s interests, such as IFRS reporting and internal controls.

Stay updated on regulatory developments, industry trends, and innovations in sustainability.

Contribute to cross-functional team efforts to embed sustainability into the company’s culture and operations.

We hope that you:

Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CDP, CSRD).

Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with large data sets and identify insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Language: English proficiency, Finnish optional
You can work either at our office located in Turku, Salo or Helsinki. We also offer a flexible remote work option.
The trainee period is fixed-term and runs from May to August.
