Battery Cell Engineer (f/m/x)

As a member of our Battery Systems Engineering Department, you’ll develop the battery systems of the future. You can look forward to a steep learning curve, a state-of-the-art test environment and fascinating projects.

 

Here’s where you’ll make an impact:

    •  
  • As first contact to our internal engineering teams,  international cell suppliers and interface to our customer R&D Cell teams, you’ll be in charge for all questions regarding cell development and maturity in all project phases. Therefore you’ll proactively work, report and resolve issues together with all interfaces on eye level.
  • Besides the assurance of the cell maturity level over entire project scope you’ll be providing cell release recommendations to our management.
  • To achieve this, you’ll track and verify supplier cell tests and coordinate additional internal cell tests.
  • You’ll also create cell requirements and provide cell information to all interfaces in our engineering team.

 

This is your basic equipment:

    •  
  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry or similar
  • Several years’ of experience and deep understanding of li-ion battery cells and knowledge of all cell parts and their detailed functions and interactions
  • Experience with automotive OEMs and a high degree of organizational and prioritization skills
  • Your English: Off the charts! Your German: Ebenfalls prima! Other strong points of yours: team spirit, the joy of discovering new things, and your personal success formula ”change = chance”.
