Located in the family-friendly economic region of Heilbronn, surrounded by nature beauty spots, you’ll find the perfect place to live and work. Various cultural and leisure activities await you after work at our state-of-the-art 5,000 square meter Battery Test Center. 
As a member of our Quality & HSE Department, you'll
 be involved in all project development phases in the sub-project Quality, starting already in the quotation phase till the handover of the project to the manufacturing.


Here’s where you’ll make an impact

  • In the role of the Project Quality Engineer, you take over the quality planning holistically and test and monitor the quality status in the development phase for supplier parts.
  • You implement efficient automotive core quality tools in the prototype phase and control part quality. In case of deviations, you define and track appropriate countermeasures.
  • The status reporting of the quality KPIs in the development project also plays an important role, as well as the definition and monitoring of measures if necessary.
  • You match customer quality requirements of the project with VALMET AUTOMOTIVE requirements and moderate the completion of various customer and internal QM documents (e.g. SC/CC, P-FMEA, etc.).
  • In addition, you responsibly follow up on the planned measures (e.g. LOP) and ensure that they are completed on time.
  • You organise and plan appointments with affected colleagues at different locations and with key suppliers. You conscientiously prepare and follow up on these quality-related appointments.


This is your basic equipment

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive development and/or production phase
  • Advanced basic knowledge in the automotive core tools (FMEA etc.) 
  • Knowledge of quality management in the automotive industry and possibly Tier1 knowledge
  • Basic knowledge in using and implementing from project management tools and methods
  • Good experience and intuition in tracking open issues or actions both internally and towards the supplier
  • Confident handling of MS Office and customer portals
  • Resilient and strong in communication and enjoy working in an international project team

  • Willingness to travel (max. 30%)
