Your job site and team:

Located in the family-friendly economic region of Heilbronn, surrounded by nature beauty spots, you’ll find the perfect place to live and work. Various cultural and leisure activities await you after work at our state-of-the-art 5,000 square meter Battery Test Center.

As a member of our Battery Mechanics Department, you will help to develop the battery systems of the future. You can look forward to a steep learning curve, a state-of-the-art test environment and fascinating projects.

Here’s where you’ll make an impact:

 

  • You'll write your Master's Thesis on the topic of Investigating EMC Solutions, Impact and Countermeasures for Enclosures in Battery and Electronics.
  • You’ll conduct a comprehensive literature review on EMC standards, regulations, and best practices for Electronics and Batteries.
  • Additionally, you’ll design and carry out experiments to analyze EMC effects on various housing materials.
  • As a result of the experiments, you’ll draw conclusions to improve EMC shielding and performance (e.g. coating), develop countermeasures to minimize EMC interference and investigate series maturity.
  • Furthermore, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to integrate findings into product design and development processes.
  • Lastly, you’ll document research findings and prepare a thesis report summarizing key insights and recommendations.

This is your basic equipment:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering or science program  at the Master's level
  • Prior experience with CATIA V5 and with EMC testing or materials characterization are a plus
  • Strong interest in electromagnetic compatibility, materials science, or related fields
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
