Cost Manager (f/m/x) RFI/RFQ Phase Battery Development

Here’s where you’ll make an impact:

 

  • As Cost Manager RFI/RFQ you will be responsible for the cost modeling of battery systems from project start to production start (RFI to EOP).
  • You will support the Project Sourcing Managers with your knowledge of materials and production costs in the process of finding the right suppliers.
  • With the use of your analytical skills and the ability to dive into the details of cost proposals and cost statements, you will support the category team in supplier negotiations.
  • You will work closely with the Commodity Managers and be familiar with material costs and R&D to achieve the best design-to-manufacturing cost results.
  • Last but not least, you’ll create synergies between our business units and projects to achieve the best possible cost-effectiveness results.

 

This is your basic equipment:

 

  • University degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management or relevant apprenticeship with continuing education
  • Several years of professional experience in cost management processes
    Experience in  production and/or materials related to batteries are an advantage
    Alternatively, production knowledge in other areas of the automotive industry
  • Practice with SAP and routine with Microsoft Office
  • Your English: Off the charts! Your German: Gut! In addition, you keep cool even when things get hot, and are curious to learn new things. Your formula for success: change = chance.
