Working Student (GER, f/m/x), Strategy & Business Development
YOUR FRONT-ROW SEAT FOR REVOLUTIONARY ELECTROMOBILITY
IONCOR is an agile independent battery solutions company with Nordic roots and decades of experience as a leading partner for some of the world’s most admired brands. With a wide range of professionals in Finland and Germany, we provide modular battery products, customized solutions and contract manufacturing to energize a global energy transition. Buses, trucks, construction, material handling and agriculture are examples of categories where production volumes of equipment are lower, and end-use cases more complex and diverse, making a swift and viable transition a real challenge. This is where we come in.
We help customers master and gain maximal value out of battery technologies across the lifecycle, from early specifications and end-user support to reuse and recycling. This is how we electrify a global energy transition.
As a Trainee / Working Student, you can kick-start your career with gaining hands-on experience and be a part in shaping the future of battery technology.
Would you like to be a new member of the Strategy & Business Development team?
We are looking for an eager Trainee / Working Student to join our Strategy and Business Development team. As part of our compact two‑member team, your contribution will have a direct impact on our strategy and market intelligence work.
As a trainee, you will support the team across a variety of strategic and analytical tasks, including:
- Conducting market, customer and competitor analyses within the battery ecosystem
- Collecting, structuring and interpreting qualitative and quantitative market data
- Assisting in strategy development projects, including preparation of analyses, presentations and management-level materials
- Contributing to data-driven prioritization and decision-making, helping translate insights into clear recommendations
- Supporting new business development and growth initiatives, including opportunity identification in new market segments and their evaluation
The position can be located either in Turku, Finland or Munich, Germany. As a working student in Germany, the contract period is linked to the duration of your studies. As a Trainee in Finland, you would work with us from March through August.
A hybrid working model is possible, depending on the tasks (we have an office in Helsinki, which can be used on hybrid days).
What You Will Learn
During the traineeship, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- How corporate strategy is planned and executed in a technology-driven industrial environment
- Applying structured, hypothesis-driven analytical approaches similar to consulting work
- Understanding market dynamics, technology trends and competitive landscapes
- Developing clear storylines and professional presentations for management audiences
- Working with real-life strategic questions related to new business models, markets and partnerships
This Is What We Offer You
Opportunity to join an agile and innovative team dedicated to driving the global energy transition through advanced battery solutions. With our Nordic heritage and expertise, we provide the chance to work on cutting-edge projects across diverse industries, where electrification presents unique challenges, a good work–life balance and a feeling of creating something new.
- Flexible working hours, and possibility for hybrid working
