We are now looking for eager Summer Trainees to join our team. As a Summer Trainee, you can kick-start your career with gaining hands-on experience and be a part in shaping the future of battery technology.

Would you like to be a new member of the Sourcing team?

We are looking for a two Summer Trainees to join our Sourcing team at our battery plant in Salo.  

Both of these positions are located in Salo, a flexible hybrid work model is possible after induction period.

Summer Trainee, Direct and Project Sourcing:

Your tasks consist of supporting the Direct and Project Sourcing teams with:

• Assisting in supplier bidding processes
• Joining regular project meetings
• Placing orders in the ERP system
• Contacting suppliers and tracking orders
• Supplier onboarding and change management topics
• Following up price changes and update those to the existing agreements.
• Handling purchase invoices, clearing mismatches from the system

You will closely co-operate with different stakeholders and functions such as projects, logistics, finance, production, quality and sales. You will be using SAP system in your daily work.

Summer Trainee, Indirect Sourcing:

As an Indirect Sourcing Summer Trainee, you will have interesting and varying workdays as you will get the opportunity to work with various tasks covering entire purchasing process as well as process and reporting systems development.

Your tasks will include:

• Participating and contributing to special development project
• Helping and assisting the team members in:
  • Purchase order creation in SAP system and purchase order tracking
  • Order confirmations to PO in SAP
  • Invoicing reconciliation
  • Supporting and analysis of RFQ process
  • Administration and agreement storage in Therefore system
  • Other supportive tasks

To succeed in this position, we hope you have:

• A recent degree or ongoing higher education studies in the field of economics, business administration or supply chain management
• Excellent interpersonal, co-operation and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new things and can-do attitude
• Good IT and data analytic skills
• Experience in using Excel
• Preferably experience in using Power BI
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English skills
